I am so good at the video game

All-star get!!! Climbing through pro with the reduced gain from wins is no joke - it took about as long to break out of those five divisions as it did to do the other four ranks that came before it. But, I did it 😤 I exclusively played Juno aside from a handful of Mercy games at the end, and Mercy is much easier (one of her powers makes her ult super busted) but you have to spend a lot of your build making up for her diminishing returns and compensating for healing reductions the enemy team should and will apply, which I know from all my time spent on Juno. Juno is still my favourite though. Love a torpedo build.
I'll grab all my builds at some point... would be nice to document. I'm still going to keep playing ofc, we're racking up so many comp points doing so, but I've earned a bit of a break from hours of stadium a night (where did the Rems go who didn't like this mode... this is what happens when the dps passive in standard gameplay is too high...)
As you can see I'm in elite for tank and dps. Tanking is weird. You have to make yourself incredibly self sufficient and be a thousand percent aware of what the enemy team has for their powers and not overstay your welcome, even when your team is nagging you. I once had my supports complaining about me not diving - into five people, a bad idea - and the enemy tank is an Orisa, and she'll just use her uninterruptible, I have zero movement, five second long spin to knock me into a wall and kill me so no no I am not getting that close to her, sry. That said they were actually allowing me to do tank things and make space; a lot of this mode people don't want to cart sit, so I end up doing it regardless of my role. Tanks should never be doing this :') Juno is fine because I can heal from a distance and have high movement, Ashe is infuriating because I am sacrificing my match cash to push but again someone's gotta and she doesn't work well in spawn camps as the distance is too close, but D.Va??? I should never be on car duty. Anyways.
Dps is far and away the easiest role tbqh. So long as you play with your team and get your butt on point when necessary, and do your damage to force resource expenditure, it'll go fine. And sometimes you'll die alone on point and your team will magically decide they want to touch it then. Come on y'all let me set things on fire in peace.
